Feel energized by beginning your morning in our AC Kitchen where we offer sweet and savory tarts, freshly baked croissants and a selection of local artisan cured meats and cheeses. Enjoy a seamless transition between work and leisure in our awe-inspiring mountain or city view rooms which include workstations, flat screen TVs, free WIFI and plush, comfortable beds. The AC Lounge highlights a unique twist on the traditional hotel bar through engaging “draft and craft” beverage rituals and tapas-style plates. The hotel’s European inspired design offers uncomplicated sophistication whether you are here for business or leisure.

Ideally located across from the Salt Palace Convention Center, and within walking distance to the Vivint Arena and Historic Temple Square, the AC Hotel Salt Lake City is designed for the urban traveler who yearns for local authenticity. I hope Jed Hansen, Director of Events, will not treat anyone like this in the future.Welcome to AC Hotel Salt Lake City Downtown AC Hotel by Marriott Salt Lake City Downtown I don't care what your opinions are or where you stand politically, the outright disrespect and unprofessional behavior we received was disgusting. I will never recommend this convention center to anyone. I can say that I will never do business or support anything having to do with this convention center ever again. From not allowing us to have signage for our event to help direct traffic, their help desk telling attendees there was no conference, their parking attendants telling our speakers that "only democrats can park here", increasing food prices from the initial bid by $50,000 (4 days before the conference), to banning any food or water, threatening to fine food trucks, shutting off our drinking fountains, failing to clean the bathrooms during the event after several requests, turning the AC on to freeze everyone out while it was 46° outside, to several other issues. I've added some photos of feedback I have received from attendees and exhibitors. In my experience with event planning and hospitality, I have never seen anything like this.

I was on the exhibitor committee of the conference we had at the Salt Palace.
